Revival Series - "LORD HELP US TO PRAY"

Mar 30, 2026

Revival Series - Episode 1 - "Lord teach us to pray."  That was the ask of the disciples.  They saw something totally different in how Jesus prayed. We have an amazing truth from Romans 8 that shows how Jesus intercedes for us with groaning too deep to be uttered.

Romans 8:26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

We must learn to engage in prayer in response to this urgency from the Lord.

We must not settle for less than engaging with the Lord in prayer.

Teach us to pray!!

Revival Series - "Where is the Power?"

Mar 30, 2026

Revival Series - Episode 2 - "Where is the Power" What is missing in what we will need to see for a modern day revival?  What did God start with when sending us the Holy Spirit.  He started with the proclamation “You shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you".  We need power.  We need it to be His witnesses, and we need it to complete our incredibly challenging mission. The Great Commission.   If we don’t have power, we have nothing.

2 Tim 3: CHAPTER 3 “Difficult Times Will Come” 1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Acts 1: 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”

Revival Series-"Where do we find hope?"

Apr 2, 2026

Revival Series - Episode 3 -"Hope is a precious commodity.  If we don’t have it, we falter and fade into a dismal existence.  God is a God is hope and He has powerful ways to show us a way of hope.  One of the most powerful truths on this is from 2 Corinthians 4:16-18:

"16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Our outer person is fading.  We ache more we get injured etc.   Being renewed in our inner person is a huge truth that we need to understand.  Don’t just try to get hope from empty things.  Let’s do it God’s way!

Revival Series - "Weakness is the Path to Strength"

April 7, 2026

Revival Series - Episode 4 -" When we think of weaknesses, we normally cringe and don’t like the idea of not being strong and in control.   God has a different idea. He has times when we have weakness but our life that He has designed to show His strength.

2 Cor 12: A Thorn in the Flesh 7 Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! 8 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

It’s radical to see our life this way.

God has also called the weak to be mighty vessels for His glory and we can see this important truth from 1 Corinthians 1: 26 For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, 29 so that no man may boast before God.

There is great encouragement seeing our lives from this perspective.

Revival Series - "God Brings About Life from the Dead"

April 9, 2026

Revival Series - Episode 5

God knows how to raise the dead and create life.  Ezekiel 37 is a stunning passage where God describes taking an entire valley full of dead bones and makes them into an army!   What is dead in our own lives?  God’s word is powerful to create life!

Revival Series - "Being fruitful is not an option"

April 18, 2026

Continuing the revival series, we look closer at John 15 to see that God has a plan for us to bear fruit.  We must abide in Him and then we will bear much fruit.   It’s a huge blessing to see God work in lives around us.  Revival is marked by having fruit.

Revival Series - "Getting a glimpse at the heart of God"

April 22, 2026

God has made Himself vulnerable to His church in ways that boggle our imagination.  Ephesians 4: 30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  How can this be?  How much does God long for our best?  How much agony can He endure from our continued idolatry and adultery?   We need to repent and give our everything to Him.  That’s all we can do and we can’t settle for anything less.
